The palate starts out with crunchy red fruits complimented by the whole bunch used in fermentation and the French oak used. Lovely ripe tannins with a fresh acid backbone to carry the flavours right to the finish. The lingering after taste makes for a very enjoyable Pinot Noir.

The palate is generously fruited with morello cherry and raspberry flavours, and the tannins are supple yet savoury and intermingle with the fruit layer. A bright line of cranberry-like acidity pulls everything together. Fine, long and intricately detailed this wine can be drunk now but will gain further complexity with medium term cellaring.

Has good depth of fruit consisting of Black cherry, red berries, earthy – Forrest floor and light smoky oak tones. Has a fuller mouth fill, with gentle drying tannins contributing to a dry finish.
