Great concentration of flavours and natural tannin structure.After discovering Yarra Valley wines 25 years ago Lou Primavera planted this vineyard in Hoddles Creek in 2001. We have a long-standing relationship with the Primavera family - having sourced fruit from the vineyard for some years. Testament to the increasing quality of this site, we are now producing a single vineyard Pinot Noir from Primavera.

The glowing acidity is in perfect harmony with the supple texture creating a persistent and dynamic flow that gives the sensation of wine dancing in the glass.

The flavours mirror the aromas with bright fruit, a savoury edge and delicious floral notes. Immediately fresh, the silky textured palate builds in the mouth and crescendos with a memorable, lingering finish.

Highly perfumed and textured Pinot Noir.

The balance on the palate with fine acidity and tannins gives the wine a distinctive line and length of flavour.

The front palate shows the cherry and strawberry fruit characters. There is a silky texture and wonderful balance running through the mid palate, with the quality French oak adding subtle charry characters. The tannins are fine and balanced, combining with a tight acid structure to give a long, lingering and powerful finish. The light gaminess adds complexity, which will continue to develop with age.
