The Take it to the Grave Pinot Noir takes on one of the wine world’s most entrenched rules – that it is impossible to make high quality, varietally expressive but affordable Pinot Noir.

A pale Pinot colour, a restrained (for now) and floral nose and a palate that is beautifully refined, delicate and structured with a perfect balance of juicy fruit—reminiscent of grenadine, crushed berries, nettle-like spice—just enough powdery tannins, and bright acidity. The finish is perfumed, fresh and salivating. Impossible not to go back quickly for another sip. An outstanding Australian Pinot by any measure and a must-taste.

This wine has a lovely nose of spiced blue fruits, raspberry autumn leaf and forest floor. The medium bodied palate is long and generous with rich savoury berries, earthy oak, a hint of wholemeal toast and fine lingering tannins.

A riper fruit profile with mulberry, cherry and raspberry fruit rolling through a fleshy palate flecked with sweet spice and silky tannins.

The vibrant palate is smooth and even with an abundance of ripe berry and plum flavours intermingled with sweet oak nuances, fine savoury tannins and a velvety mouthfeel. Silky texture and gamey.

The palate is medium bodied with a juicy, sappy black cherry core balanced by fine spicy tannins. Great length and bright acidity deliver a vibrant finish. Needing time to open, this wine will reward time in the cellar.

The palate continues the aromatics with fleshy blue fruits and fine tannins, interwoven with fine spice from whole bunch pressing and French oak, finishing with vibrant fruit and lifted acidity.

The palate is weighty and supple, supported by tannins as fine and delicate as chiffon. The finish lingers long, revealing further layers of spiced cherry complexity. Juicy and approachable in its youth, yet wonderfully poised and balanced, all the elements of concentration, length and balance are in place to reward cellaring

An energetic palate of red cherry, strawberry and black plums leads to a long finish framed by firm, fine tannins.

Fresh thyme and rosemary with spice notes of black cardamon, cinnamon and warm cedar. The palate is wonderfully open and calm, with red fruits gliding through to the finish.

At first, the palate is vibrant and appealing with an almost rustic elegance yet without any hard edges. As the wine opens up in the glass, there is a wonderful presence of ripe, crunchy fruit, fine tannins and excellent structure, all blending together into a harmonious and complex Pinot of superb transparency and tension.

This Estate Pinot Noir displays lifted raspberry aromas, with a hint of earthiness and subtle oak. The flavours combine full fruit with fine long tannins, finishing with the elegance and finesse.
