Tyrrell's Special Release Pinot Noir 2023

2023 was one of those rare years when Pinot Noir shines in the Hunter Valley. The fruit was taken from vines in the 4 Acres and 8 Acres Vineyards planted in 1971 and the HVD vineyards planted in 1984. This wine has a lovely nose of spiced blue fruits, raspberry autumn leaf and forest floor. The medium bodied palate is long and generous with rich savoury berries, earthy oak, a hint of wholemeal toast and fine lingering tannins.
