Bright medium red. Quite pure with hints of blueberry, raspberry, game and woodsmoke. Fine grained texture, restrained, spice, slightly saline, fills the palate with gentle flavours.

The Pinot Noir is fermented with the wild yeasts that abound in our Biodynamic vineyard and age the wine in a mix of new and seasoned French oak to produce a savoury style with finesse and structure.

2021 was a perfect year for this wine. Cooler conditions have allowed bright, intense berry flavours to develop: perfect for this fruit driven style. Much less oak influence than its big sister wine (Secret Village Pinot Noir) means the Blue Label is a fresher, lighter style.

Concentrated and elegant with red and dark fruit, spectacular baking spices combined with smoky oak and the signature integrated tannin structure.

Dark cherry and spice spill onto the palate. This generous Pinot has breadth and expanse, yet shows poise from seams of ripe tannins. There is complexity galore with sandalwood and Campari spice interacting with dark plum fruits.

The flavours mirror the aromas with bright fruit, a savoury edge and delicious floral notes. Immediately fresh, the silky textured palate builds in the mouth and crescendos with a memorable, lingering finish.

The palate is vibrant and juicy with more of the same red fruits as well as a hint of spice. The tannins are soft and approachable making the wine ready to be enjoyed straight away.

Fresh thyme and rosemary with spice notes of black cardamon, cinnamon and warm cedar. The palate is wonderfully open and calm, with red fruits gliding through to the finish.

An elegant and complex palate is supported by cool climate acidity and ripe red fruits. Subtle spice and supple tannins contribute to the texture, length and finish

The palate is bright and generously up front and aptly supports the aroma with juicy raspberry, chocolate and berry compote, driven by frisky acidity. The wine is particularly easy drinking with fine but abundant tannin. With generous length, the wine is delectably moreish and is ready to fully appreciate now or over the next ten years. Would compliment pate and charcuterie.

The palate is medium bodied with juicy red cherries, soft acid and fine chalky tannins.

The palate is bright and energetic with red fruit flavours filling out the mid palate, the finish is long and uplifting. This is an elegant and finely structured McCrone Pinot Noir, characteristic of the 2018 vintage.

The palate has a tight linear acid line with chalky tannins that showcases raspberries and cherries along with a fleshy body.

The palate is equally complex with layers of dark fruit, spice and umami that are woven together by a fresh vein of acidity. The texture is rich and mouth-filling with silky, fine tannins that build in the mouth giving a long, memorable finish.

Medium bodied with cherries, raspberries, liquorice and concentrated flavours of tobacco and spice. This wine is finely textured with savoury notes and a lovely mineral acidity on the finish.

A core of dense, concentrated dark fruits are framed by fresh raspberry and cranberry notes. Subtle earthy notes and Indian spice sit in the background wrapped in the French oak. A vibrant acidity and fine tannin profile ensure a long and powerful finish.

The palate is finely layered opening with fleshy pure fruit, a silky texture, fine tannins and an elegant palate. It has wonderful persistence of flavour and excellent potential for long term cellaring.

Opulently fruited on the palate with raspberry, cranberry and boysenberry flavours that cascade down a bright fine line of acidity. the tannins are soft and generous, yet elegant and detailed, layering seamlessly with the fruit.
