Alto Adige Doc, Italy
Alois Lageder Mimuèt Pinot Noir is a medium-bodied, elegant, and fresh Pinot Noir with a subtle bouquet of red fruit, spicy notes, and delicate wood spice. It features a harmonious structure, velvety tannins, and a pleasant persistence, with notes of ripe cherries and light white pepper. The wine is ideal for pairing with light game dishes, white meats, and soft cheese.
Founded in 1823, Alois Lageder is led by 6th generation Clemens, with sisters Helena and Anna. Clemens’ father Alois constructed a zero-carbon emission winery in 1996, introducing organic and biodynamic farming, with all 55 hectares Domaine vineyards now certified. Today Alois Lageder harvests earlier, yielding wines of pronounced aromatic diversity and complexity, with lower alcohols. From 2021, following their quest for freshness, tension and finesse the Masterpieces and Classics Ranges are moving from DOC to IGT Vigneti delle Dolomiti. All Alois Lageder wine packaging is derived from natural, recyclable materials, and low weight glass bottles (450 gms) are being introduced.
