Medium bodied with cherries, raspberries, liquorice and concentrated flavours of tobacco and spice. This wine is finely textured with savoury notes and a lovely mineral acidity on the finish.

A core of dense, concentrated dark fruits are framed by fresh raspberry and cranberry notes. Subtle earthy notes and Indian spice sit in the background wrapped in the French oak. A vibrant acidity and fine tannin profile ensure a long and powerful finish.

Dark ruby with a purple hue. On the nose fresh dark berry aromas with a light cherry lift. This wine shows the vibrancy expected when the grape variety is paired with ideal growing conditions from a highly acclaimed cool climate wine region.

The palate is taut and powerful with powdery fine tannins up front lending a sinewy elegance. A fine streak of acidity offers a lively backdrop to the abundant berry fruits, presenting a wine that is both powerful and dense yet beautifully light on its feet.

A lovely lightness, where the wine dances across the palate and finishes fresh and lifted. The tannins sit more in the background, just enough to add texture and structure and keep the wine composed.

The palate is elegant yet vibrant with raspberry and plum fruits dominating. There are background flavours of spice, cedar oak with a sappy edge.

Smooth and dense entry displaying dark fruits, morello cherry and plum, and nutmeg that persists through onto the lingering finish. Savoury dried herb and leather elements are also present.

Red berries and dark cherry dominate the nose, firm mid palate tannins lead to pleasing acidity on the back.

The front palate shows the cherry and strawberry fruit characters. There is a silky texture and wonderful balance running through the mid palate, with the quality French oak adding subtle charry characters. The tannins are fine and balanced, combining with a tight acid structure to give a long, lingering and powerful finish. The light gaminess adds complexity, which will continue to develop with age.
