The basalt based underlying volcanic soil and rock produce a characteristically fine yet extended, spicy and firm palate.

The palate is fine with delicate tannins, whilst well structured, presenting cherries, raspberries and strawberries as well as graphite and gamey oak influence.

An energetic palate of red cherry, strawberry and black plums leads to a long finish framed by firm, fine tannins.

Gentle fruit characters give way to delicate savory spiciness and vibrant minerality. Fine powdery tannins provide elegance and length.

The bouquet becomes increasingly attractive as it shifts through ripe red berries, sweet floral tones, darker spicy notes and herby complexity. The fresh red fruits, spice, and later wild herb flavours hold a wonderfully harmonious shape and texture, nicely supported with fine persistent tannins and calm acidity.

The wine then moves into a dense richly textured mouthfeel. Elegance, finesse abound holding the wine into a tightly knit package whilst will drink superbly in its youth will also reward those who choose to cellar the wine.

Opulently fruited on the palate with raspberry, cranberry and boysenberry flavours that cascade down a bright fine line of acidity. the tannins are soft and generous, yet elegant and detailed, layering seamlessly with the fruit.

Red maraschino cherries, forest berries, and jasmine notes with a hint of ripe tomato. Smooth integration of vanilla and subtle spice from the oak. Flavour, body, and finish built to drink on release or age.

Pinot Noir from Rocky Point Vineyard always shows a subtle mineral character underlying the plush aromatics & texture.

Dark cherries and ripe plum fill the aroma with intensity and volume. Behind the generous fruit lies subtle roasting pan complexity. Supple tannins entwine with silky acidity to give a plush texture across the opulent fruit profile.

Mike Press Pinot Noir is an elegant wine with soft dark fruit and a fresh violet lift. This wine has a spicy complexity on the finish, a great example of an expectational Pinot Noir.

Pinot noir commands centre stage in Gippsland. This wine has a lot of depth & structure and a contrast of bright plum fruit character and earthy, savoury tones.

A bouquet of fresh strawberries and cherries, then emphasised on the pallet as dark cherry and bramble fruits come to the fore. The structure is ample, coming in the form of vibrant acidity, subtle oak characters and fine tannins which work in unison to elegantly frame the powerful fruit characters.

The palate is long, showing dark berry fruits, nutmeg spice and hints of earthiness from the whole bunch. Defined tannins help to provide definition and length.
