The tannins are fine and balanced, combining with a tight acid structure to give a long, lingering and powerful finish. The light gaminess adds complexity, which will continue to develop with age.

The complex nose displays dark fruits, earthy notes and a touch of toasty spice. The palate is concentrated and elegant with a fine dense core of tannins and a long savoury finish.

On the palate the wine shows complex savoury fruit and spice and is long, textural and juicy. Bright, young fruit now will match well with crispy duck breast or a piece of wagyu beef with a wild mushroom sauce.
