An enticing bouquet that slowly opens to reveal ripe red fruits – cherry, plum and pops of raspberry – intertwined with hints of dried herb and a subtle smokiness. A velvety texture and elegant density in the mid-palate reveal layers of flavour.

The bouquet becomes increasingly attractive as it shifts through ripe red berries, sweet floral tones, darker spicy notes and herby complexity. The fresh red fruits, spice, and later wild herb flavours hold a wonderfully harmonious shape and texture, nicely supported with fine persistent tannins and calm acidity.

This is a wine with real power and drive, yet delivered with precision and fi nesse. While ready to drink on release it can be expected to cellar well and evolve gracefully for many years.

The palate is finely structured, showing generosity and clarity of fruit expression. Currants, dark cherry and red berry characters integrate well with supportive oak spice. Refreshing natural acidity gives the wine drive and line, leading into a long and persistent finish.

There’s vibrant strawberry and cherry aromas on the nose enhanced by an earthy intensity. Soft tannins, cleansing acidity and has the versatility of pairing fats and creams as it cuts through with a textured finish.

Perfume and elegance meets flavours of liqueur cherries, spice and lustrous tannins. There is a tight, restrained yet lively palate of intense fruit that pans out across the back palate.

The palate is densely packed, with purity and finely drawn, fleshy structure interlaced with high-grown freshness and a savoury tinged, lengthy close. Proper.

Aromas of intense cherry and raspberry are tinged with a hint of rose petal. A well concentrated and fruit dominant wine showcasing red cherry and strawberry fruit flavours, delicate tannins and a supple finish.

Bright, pale ruby in the glass. Lean, angular body balanced with juicy acidity and firm tannin. Exhibits aromatic, notes of blackcurrant leaf with crunchy redcurrants, cranberry, and red cherry with hints of vanilla and toast on the lengthy finish.

The front palate shows the cherry and strawberry fruit characters. There is a silky texture and wonderful balance running through the mid palate, with the quality French oak adding subtle charry characters. The tannins are fine and balanced, combining with a tight acid structure to give a long, lingering and powerful finish. The light gaminess adds complexity, which will continue to develop with age.

Dark red berry and cherry fruits blend seamlessly with dark herbs, earthiness, raspberry liqueur and liquorice elements, all wrapped up a fine-grained tannin and refined structural bow.

Dark cherry, satsuma plums and red berry aromas savory woodland earthiness with crunchy red berries and fine, firm tannins.

The hallmarks of the Punt Road Pinot Noir house style are savoury and sappy fruit in the red-fruit spectrum, with a whiff of graphite and creamy lees.
