Dark cherry and berry fruits, hints of violet, clove and cinnamon - the layers of fruit are seamlessly wound into dark velvety tannins. A stunning representation of a Central Otago Pinot with punch and poise.

The front palate shows the cherry and strawberry fruit characters. There is a silky texture and wonderful balance running through the mid palate, with the quality French oak adding subtle charry characters. The tannins are fine and balanced, combining with a tight acid structure to give a long, lingering and powerful finish. The light gaminess adds complexity, which will continue to develop with age.

Though primary red fruit are visibly dominant, there is more to be found; Christmas spices, rosehip and floral notes like lilies and freshly cut hay are the more obvious characters that we see. The supporting role of the oak intensifies the underlying tobacco and caramel notes.

The palate starts out with crunchy red fruits complimented by the whole bunch used in fermentation and the French oak used. Lovely ripe tannins with a fresh acid backbone to carry the flavours right to the finish. The lingering after taste makes for a very enjoyable Pinot Noir.

Alluringly fresh out the glass, you get lovely scents of dark cherry, exotic spice and an earthy tinge. It’s silky and vibrant fleshy, with a fine-boned structure offering plenty of immediate drinking pleasure. Wrapping around a core of deep red fruit, the tannins are perfectly formed and it closes with powerful length, elegance and freshness.

The entry on the palate is gently sweet, then aided by balanced natural acidity, strawberry seed tannin carries the palate to a point.

The palate is sweetly fruited and supple, with plush polished tannins and a ripe, spice driven mouthfeel. An ethereal and elegant wine, coupled with a rounded body and splash of refreshing acidity that provides harmony and length, flowing perfectly through to its long, rewarding finish.

This delicious, full bodied Pinot Noir exudes lifted aromas of cherry and ripe red berry fruits. The palate shows a dominance of ripe fruit, yet is soft and elegant, finishing with firm tannins that sit in wonderful harmony with the fruit and acidity.

The 2020 Seville Estate Yarra Valley Pinot Noir has a vivid crimson colour, with lifted aromas of dark cherry, spice and lees complexity. Fine savoury tannins and a soft acid give an elegant finish.
