Central Otago, New Zealand
The name given to their Lowburn Vineyard in Cromwell as when you stand amidst the vines and look out across Lake Dunstan, the hill you look directly upon was once aptly named Mohawk Hill by the workers who came to Central Otago to build the Clyde Dam. Planted in 2008 / 220m elevation. Clone 667, Abel, 5 / 33% whole cluster / 26 days maceration - without a doubt the largest and most luscious of the 4 single vineyard Pinot Noirs, ripe cherry and plum aromas - rich, round and cuddly, a definite crowd favourite.

Central Otago has quickly established itself as ground zero for Pinot Noir in New Zealand-in the words of Jancis Robinson, "many believe this is where the Pinot grail is to be found".
