The Home Block, planted in 2000, contributes 30% of the blend and is believed to feature Pinot Noir clones 114 and 115. It was hand-picked on 21 March 2024, delivering bright, delicate aromatics. The Tree Block, planted to MV6 clone, forms the remaining 70% and was harvested on 11 April 2024, providing darker fruit and structural depth. All fruit was gently de-stemmed and fermented as whole berries, with daily pump-overs for soft extraction. After 20 days on skins, the wine matured for 10 months in large-format François Frères French oak puncheons (25% new), enhancing texture without overshadowing the fruit. Bremley Estate Pinot No…
In the glass, the wine is perfumed with wild strawberry, red cherry, and raspberry, supported by rose petals, subtle spice, and a hint of forest floor. The palate is medium-bodied and silky, with polished tannins, bright acidity, and a long, savoury finish that captures the elegance of cool-climate Tasmania.

Tasmania is Australia’s southernmost wine region. Its commercial vineyards date back to 1823, when Bartholomew Broughton planted the first vines. Incidentally, the very first vines in Victoria and South Australia also originated from Tasmania. The Tasmanian wine industry then lay dormant for nearly 100 years due to the gold rush, with commercial winemaking only resuming in the 1950s. After 70 years of development, Tasmania has become synonymous with premium wines, especially Pinot Noir. The island is divided into several sub‑regions—Tamar Valley, Pipers River, Derwent Valley, Coal River Valley, Huon Valley, and the East Coast. Among these, Coal River Valley is the most sought‑after: the winner of the 2024 Australian Pinot Noir Challenge hails from there, as does the highly coveted Tolpuddle Vineyard Pinot Noir. For a Pinot Noir enthusiast, Tasmania Pinot Noir is a not to be overlooked.
