Sourced from carefully managed vineyard sites across Yarra Glen and Coldstream, this wine captures the essence of cool-climate Pinot grown in one of Australia’s premier regions.
The wine was matured in 500L French oak puncheons (17% new) for eight months to enhance structure while retaining brightness and purity. In the glass, it shows vivid garnet and ruby hues. The nose is beautifully lifted with wild strawberries, maraschino cherry, rose petal and a flicker of sweet spice. The palate delivers layers of red and dark cherry fruit with a mouthwatering cherry-stone bitterness, framed by finely woven tannins and fresh acidity. The finish is long, textured and delightfully savoury.
