A blend of our Southern Peninsula grower vineyards, this iteration speaks of the balance and enjoyment that great Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir can deliver. The typical variatel aromas of wild strawberry and foraged pine mushrooms are prevalent, but the palate is where the wine shines brightest. Full and brooding through the mid palate and finishing with svelte tannin, this will suitably deliver for lovers of Pinot.
Stonier is one of the pioneers of the Mornington Peninsula, planted at Merricks in 1978. Since 2022, the winery is back in local ownership with a focus on being a benchmark Australian cool climate producer. The vineyard is located on the cooler East side of the Peninsula on red volcanic soil and is now farmed using organic principles.
