Bolder cherry aromas sit well with the chariness and the smoked meat characters. The wine finishes well with beautiful chalky tannins. A cool and wet spring led to a much later picking date for this fruit. This wine is great with duck, and game meats. It also works really well with dishes that feature mushrooms. A favourite match of ours is Pinot Risotto with Mushroom, Chestnuts and Cavelo Nero.te wines.

Located southeast of Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills is a wine region covering nearly 1,500 km² with 3,957 hectares of vineyards. Thanks to its high altitude and rugged landscape—with its rolling hills, valleys, and sub‑valleys—the region enjoys a cool climate that gives rise to a variety of meso‑climates.
